Some of the Coldest Windchills in Years!

With forecasts for approaching windchills nearing minus-25, please take easy steps to ensure your pipes do not freeze in this weather. During these frigid nights, especially, please consider dripping your faucets overnight and leaving cupboard doors open near pipes in kitchens and bathrooms to allow warm air to circulate around them.

Our snow-removal company continues their attempts to plow after vehicles were left up near the sidewalks during last week’s snow event. They are playing catch-up now and, with more snow coming through Sunday night, please move your vehicles under the carports into your designated spot until everything is clear sometime Monday. Additional vehicles should be moved to the side street or to Carl Street as the plow may need to come through multiple times.

Exposed skin can suffer damage in short time during such cold temps. Cars with little gas will often fail unless routinely started and warmed. Please take care of yourselves, please keep your pets from being outside for long stretches, and please help the snow-removal company in their efforts to keep everyone safe here.

Take care!
